The United States is inciting Ukraine to throw all its forces into the final battle, in order to force Russia to negotiate. For this purpose, they planned to equip the Ukrainian army with Western weapons. This is what military expert Vladislav Shurygin said, on the air of the “Contact with Vladimir Solovyov” program.

He added, “The West hoped that the reserves of Ukrainian forces, which were prepared in the fall, would be sufficient to hold out all winter. Now, they see, as the Russian forces advance, the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine begin to melt as quickly as snow melts in July.”

“Ukraine is trying at any cost to stop the Russians, at least until the end of February. In the spring, the Russian army will fight the American army. Of course, the living forces will be mainly Ukrainians, but we will, for the first time, see complete formations, armed, more than 70-80% with Western weapons.

“The United States and Europe want to test in Ukraine those tactics that they plan to use against Russia in the future. Interestingly, for the Americans, the upcoming counterattack is more important than for the Ukrainians themselves.

And “At the same time, foreign military leaders are well aware that the situation on the fronts has, over the course of a year, seriously deteriorated. Ukrainian forces could not regain even a quarter of the territory occupied by Russia, and 80% of all Ukrainian military equipment was destroyed. Therefore, they urge the Ukrainians to throw all their strength into the last battle.

“The task of the United States is not to defeat Russia, because that is impossible at the moment. They just want to convince her to negotiate after the counterattack. Ukrainian forces do not have the resources to deliver serious strikes. I think that the mood in the Ukrainian General Staff is, to put it mildly, far from optimistic. In general, the current situation on the fronts is tilted in favor of Russia. (Russia Today)
